'Ayurveda as the Sister of Yoga'

 

Friday 14th October

3-.00 – 5.30 Registration

6.00 pm      Dinner        

7.15 pm      Orientation   

7.30 pm      Discussion -   Introduction on Ayurveda principles and the importance of your “agni” - digestion

                   Yoga Nidra Session

 9.00pm         Bedtime

 

Saturday 15th 

 

6.30 – 7.45 am     Pranayama/Meditation

8.00am                Breakfast          

10.00 – 12.00       Yoga practise

12.30 – 1.30pm     Lunch              

2.00 – 4.15 pm     Looking at different food groups for your particular constitution. We will be considering the qualitative aspect of food, importance of taste, and food combining. 

4.30 – 5.30 pm     Silent meditation walk to the cathedral

Dinner 6.30pm

8.00 – 9.30 pm     Movie

9.30 pm               Bedtime

 

Sunday 16th 

 

6.30 – 7.45 am     Pranayama/meditation

8.00am                Breakfast          

10.00 – 12.00       Yoga practise    

12.30 – 1.30pm     Lunch              

1.30- 3.00pm        Finishing session – Useful tips to aide digestion

                           Closing discussion and meditation.

 

Students are welcome to stay and enjoy Mana until the early evening.

There will be on offer optional Ayurvedic body treatments throughout the weekend.
